Suitability and safety This is an aesthetic, lightweight lead for smaller breeds and lighter use. It is not heavy duty and is not intended for large or strong dogs, excessive pulling or extreme wear and tear. Choose according to your dog's size and behaviour, and check that the lead and its collar or harness attachment are suitable, comfortable and correctly fitted. Inspect the lead and hardware regularly. Stop using it if you notice wear, damage or fraying, including damage from biting or scratching. Close supervision and regular suitability checks are important as your dog grows; no puppy age rating is supplied. Cocopup states that its harnesses, leads and collars are UK strength tested and certified fit for purpose. This does not make the lead heavy duty or replace regular inspection.
